CAT PLAYS DEAD

Who said cats can't learn tricks?  This kitty, named the "exotic" for its distinct facial features. These cats crack me up just looking at them, so when it does this trick its so adorable.

If I wasn't EXTREMELY allergic, I would buy one or five in a heartbeat.

SAND ANIMATION: KSENIYA SIMONOVA

Kseniya Simonova, 24, of the Ukraine won "Ukraine's Got Talent"for her amazing heartfelt and moving sand art. I have seen sand art performance before so when a friend suggested this video, I had to check it out.

Simonova's video depicts a war-torn time in the Ukraine, thus explaining all the crying in the audience. To read more about the history and some frequently asked questions about her work, go HERE.

You have to watch the whole video. This first one is the video that qualified her for the semi-finals. The following is what won her the entire contest.

DANCING WITH THE STARS: SEASON 10

Dancing with the stars season 10 premiered tonight on ABC. The new season features Pam Anderson, Kate Gosselin, Niecy Nash, Buzz Aldrin (now 80 years old, the second man to walk on the moon).

STARBUCKS ADDS ANOTHER SIZE

Among the standard sizes already offered by the cafe chain Starbucks, they are currently testing a new size. The cup holds 31 ounces and is named "Trenta" after the Italian word for 30.

The cup is only available for iced coffee and tea in hopes that it will better serve the customers who drink these items. Trenta coffees will be $3.30 and Teas will be $2.60, but don't go looking for them at your local store just yet. They are market testing the new idea in Phoenix, Arizona and Tempe, Florida.

Other companies, such as McDonald's have an extra-large size, so Starbucks is doing nothing new as far as the market goes. Thoughts?

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL: CYCLE 14

America's Next Top Model debuted its newest season, cycle 14, last Wednesday March 10. The show is on every Wednesday on the CW at 8/7 p.m. central.

 

This cycle there are the usual 13 model hopefulls, but also a new judge Vogue Magazine Editor Andre Leon Talley.

NEW MOVIE: GHOSTBUSTERS 3

Slated for release in 2011, "Ghostbusters 3" is currently in production. The project has been pretty secretive so far with some stars rumored to be involved and no official trailer (yet!). The usuals, including Bill Murray, will be in the movie with specific roles yet to be detailed.

The newest addition to the Disney Princess family, Tiana of "The Princess and The Frog," can now be seen at home on DVD or Disney Blu-Ray after the official release this Tuesday. Single disc widescreen copies are affordable, going for around $15.

*UPDATE* THE LEGENDARY GURU OF GANG STARR AND JAZZMATAZZ IN A COMA

A rap giant is fighting for his life.

Guru, the lyrical force behind the duo Gang Starr and his solo Jazzmatazz releases, suffered a heart attack over the weekend and is currently in a coma, according to published reports.

"Guru still in surgery, keep on praying people, he will make it," tweeted his musical partner, DJ Premier.

"He's in surgery still keep praying. He's still here," echoed rapper Q-Tip.

Along with Premier, the duo Gang Starr released a string of smart, funky albums throughout the 1990s, including Step In the Arena, Daily Operation and Hard to Earn.

As well, Guru's excellent series of Jazzmatazz albums featured the rapper working with jazz greats like Donald Byrd and Ramsey Lewis.
