Music videos on many networks have been in decline since the mid-90's, and now MTV is owning up to its present show schedule, dropping the tag-line "Music Television" under the logo.
When was the last time you saw a video on the network? Even the morning wake-up videos around 6 a.m. have become scarce.
Though videos are what made MTV famous back in 1981, their current list of shows, like "Jersey Shore," "16 and Pregnant," and "The Real World,"only feature music in the backgroud. Music televison has become reality television.
