I WAS SHOCKED
I was browsing news on CNN.com when I came upon this video and story, "Lap Dancing Teachers." Aparrently a male teacher gave a lap dance to a female teacher at a school pep rally at a school in Canada.

I really do love John Mayer's music. I have all his CDs and would jump at the chance to see him in concert, if I could afford it.
The only thing that bugs me about him is the way he shoots off his mouth, saying completely random and ridiculous things for attention. In his most recent interview, he admitted he needs to keep his elaborate farces to himself, but will he?
In memory of his reckless speaking, The Huffington Post voted for the "9 Douchiest Things John Mayer Has Ever Said."

DAKOTA FANNING GROWS UP
Dakota Fanning, child star from films such as "I Am Sam," "War of the Worlds," and "Twilight New Moon" looks all grown up (and maybe from the '60s) on the upcoming month's cover of V magazine.
I think it's cute and funky, and also surprisingly grown up compared to just a few years ago when she had a bob haircut and puffy pink dresses. Thoughts?

STALKING MADE EASIER
New technology from the Swedish firm The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) called Recognizr could soon help you figure out who they are so that you can get up and greet them by name.
According to an article published Tuesday in Popular Science, Recognizr is a new application that can figure out who someone is--and auto-discover social networking information about them--based solely on a photo.
PopSci, riffing on the growing field of augmented reality, called the technology "augmented identity."
"Mashing up face recognition technology, computer vision, cloud computing and augmented reality with the complex digital lives many of us lead on the Internet," PopSci wrote, "TAT has created an app that allows you to gather information on a person and their social networking life simply by pointing your camera phone at their face."

Daniel Merriweather, a VH1 "You Oughta Know" artist, released his new album "Love and War."
I gave it a listen and was very impressed by his soulful sound. A mix of slow and upbeat tracks, the album is worth a listen. You may remember him from a Mark Ronson produced track from a few years back.
Some of my favorite songs from this album are the collaborations he did. This first video for "Change" features Wale.
I also really like "Water & A Flame" featuring Adele. This video is the song, and the embed restricted actual video is HERE.

USA OLYMPICS

TIGER APOLOGIZES
Tiger set up a press conference to apologize for his actions. Although I understand he did this for his "fans", his advertisers and those who look up to him however I'm not married to him and he doesn't owe me any apologize. His vows were to his wife and GOD. It was quite hilarious hearing the commentary regarding the situation I believe media took this issue and ran with it due to their assumptions of Tiger's "good boy" image. At the end of the day he is a phenomenal golfer and I'm not condoning his behavior, it is quite ridiculous but the obsession over it is just as ridiculous. HAITI still needs our help!

He is indeed grown *blank stare* I didn't care too much for his last official album Graffiti but this mixtape he has released In My Zone *HA* [paused] should have taken the place of Graffiti. Produced by DJ Drama and DJ Sense has some very interesting songs. The music is addictive and very very grown *whew, where is my H2O* . Just looking at the track list made me want to listen to the songs to see what Mr. Brown had in store for us. One of my favorite websites "Uncommon Goods" sells anything from decorative wall decals, to candy making kits, to infant toys. They have a large variety of random, but fun, items for you or as gifts.
The only down side is that some things are overpriced. Don't let that discourage you, though, because there are many affordable items.

"WOLFMAN"
"Wolfman," starring Benicio Del Torro and Anthony Hopkins is a remake of the 1941 classic of the same name.

ROY WOOD JR.
Roy Wood Jr. performed at Capital University last night, telling joke after joke in a near flawless set. He mixed it up and tested out a lot of different jokes. Needless to say, I wish I had recorded it to share with you all. I watched a few clips online and I found one to share, but definitely check him out.
