I have always like the cartoon and find it quite amusing and entertaining. When I heard they were making it into a movie I got super happy...depending on who was going to get behind it, it could be a major box office hit or a disaster and disappointment. After seeing the trailer I am SUPER DUPER READY for this to hit theaters I can barely contain my excitement. For one it's in 3D [iHEART 3D], while 3D is not for every movie, I do believe that it can be a great tool and add to the flick if done just right. I was a little worried that M. Night Shyamalan wrote and directed this film...other than The Sixth Sense, his movies always leave me iono feeling weird lol. I have seen the trailers for this and I think this might be his crowning jewel...I can only hope so. If you aren't familiar with The Last Airbender check out the show on Nickelodeon.

Daddy Yankee released a new CD today, "Mundial," meaning "Worldwide" in English. He describes the albums as a mixture of reggaeton, merengue, perico ripiao, bachata, soca, and dance hall.
The CD features thirteen tracks with spanish titles with about 41 minutes of music. Below is a video featuring the fifth track, "La Despedida."
Green, City living is the current trend for new car concepts and models. The Smart Car is very popular in Europe and large city centers with limited space. These smaller designs allow for my space on roads, in parking spaces, and get better gas milage.
Comparing this and the Smart Car, this is a much sharper design. The body is sleek and styled, while still getting the job done.
One of my friends went on a trip to Paris a few months ago and found a bridge where there were a number of random padlocks with people's names on them. As it turns out, the names are those of lovers who are engaged and are making an act of commitment. Lovers scribe their names, perhaps a short message, lock it to the fence on the bridge and throw the key in the river. Very romantic, if you ask me.
Apparently this is fairly common in Europe, but it still in some places in America. In Europe, however, these locks are on bridges, chains, and more. In some places the cover an entire area.

"Avatar" was released on DVD today. Perhaps more exciting for fans, though, is the director James Cameron talking about the sequel.
As a fan of the underwater world, Cameron's sequel to Avatar is said to be about deep sea life on a moon of Pandora.
Cameron told the LA Times, "Part of my focus in the second film is in creating a different environment--a different setting within Pandora, and I'm going to be focusing on the ocean on Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative, but it just won't be a rain forest. Today is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Many communities use this day to promote eco-friendly practices and to clean up the local area.
I remember in grade school when we all used to get a young tree to take home and plant. This year I didn't plant any trees, but I did help host the Earth Week 2010 at my university. We had events everyday to draw attention to the cause and to help fellow students understand the importance of small steps.

Late night food usually means greasy, fast, and really fattening. I'm busy with work and class 'till sometimes after 10 or 11 p.m., so i've been working harder to find good late-night grub.
Tonight I would like to highlight Bodega in downtown Columbus on the corner of 3rd and High. Located in the Short North neighborhood, the crowd is varied and lively.
What makes Bodega special beyond good late night food is their 50 beers on tap. They also have a fabulous monday night special on grilled cheese with chips and a pickle for only $1! Add a cup of tomato soup and mmm mmm mmm! Lastly, I took home the warm Nutella and strawberry croissant. I'm full, warm, and I didn't spend much at all.

I like these albums because it reminds me that my favorite ladies are not so super-humanly beautiful. The interesting part is that about half of these women are still amazing without makeup.

“Over,” the lead single from Drake debut album Thank Me Later. The track I believe is about him and his instant popularity. It may actually only seem "instant" to those on the outside looking in. The lyrics suggests that after the notoriety he sought after was obtained now he must overcome new stresses, the constant criticism, trust, groupies and pressure.
Anthony Mandler-directed video for “Over” which was not a cliché hip hop /rap video. The leading lady of the video is Roc Nation's artist Rita Ora.

Lollapalooza is the annual summer music festival held in Chicago's Grant Park. The fest will be August 6-8 this year, headlined by Soundgarden, Greenday, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, and Phoenix.
Tickets are only $215 for the whole weekend. Consider how much this acts charge seperately and how much other music festivals cost, Lollapalooza seems to be a good deal.

It was a true "Clash of The Titans" this weekend at the box office. Movie goers came out in full force and the remake of the epic Greek Mythology tale "Clash Of The Titans" won out over Tyler Perry's sequel "Why Did I Get Married Too". Both raked in mega millions [Clash - $43,732,319 and Perry - $30,150,000]. I haven't seen Clash yet but do plan on checking it out (in 3D of course) very soon. I did however get to see Tyler's movie and I LOVED it.. did I say I loved it? YUP I did, I did! The part I liked best was that this movie wasn't predictable like many of his movies are. Check it out for yourself then tell us what you think of it.
It will be another busy weekend at the box office. Besides the box office hits such as: How To Train Your Dragon, Alice In Wonderland there will be a couple additions to the marquee.
The remake Clash of The Titanshits theaters today starring Sam Worthingon who recently starred in the smash box office money maker Avatar (also starred in Terminator Salvation)as if that was not enough he plays the main character Perseus in what I am sure will be box office gold. I loved the original version of this movie and advise that if you have not seen it, rent it (or watch it online) before you go see the remake...trust me it will make the experience that much better. Also I am a huge fan of 3D...if they take the time to make the movie in 3D.. go see it, trust me there are things that they place in these films that are meant to be scene three dimensional. MeaLee

Mos Def is an award winning lyricist and actor and is making his mark everywhere, not just in the music industry. He is one of the most underrated talents in the industry today. His strategic placement of himself in so many different mediums will ensure that his entertainment career will far out last many of those who begin in hiphop as he did.
