This might be the poster for the new Tyler Perry movie that's in production or it might not be. According to Shadow And Act artist Tatyana Fazlalizdeh created the poster in possible hopes that it would be circulated enough online that it would land on Tyler's desk and he would like it so much he would hire her. Good Idea! I like the poster and think it is strong and beautiful. Makes me want to see the movie. What do you think?
The movie stars entertainment big names such as Janet Jackson, Anika Noni Rose, Whoopi Goldberg, Loretta Devine, Kerry Washington and Phylica Rashad (just to name a few)
The movie was supposed to star Mariah Carey as well but she unexpectedly quit the film - rumors are that she is pregnant but no word from the Carey/Canon camp on that yet.
According to IMDB.com the plot is a drama based on Ntozake Shange's about existence from the perspective of 20 nameless black females.

(VIA Shadow And Act) No it’s not really the poster for Tyler Perry’s adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf… but it could be, if Craig at Kiss My Black Ads has anything to do with it ;)
Long story short… the poster was created by artist Tatyana Fazlalizdeh; it’s her vision of what she believes the poster should look like. Are you digging it?
The hope of course is that this gets passed around enough that it maybe makes its way to Tyler Perry’s desk or email account, and he’s so impressed by it that he hires Tatyana for the job of creating the film’s poster, and possibly other marketing materials. So I guess we’re trying to help a sistah get some work :) !
Check out an interview with Tatyana over at KMBA for more, where you’ll also find some other samples of her pretty cool work.
