Electrik Red

All-girl singing group Electrik Red, paired with writing/production team The Dream and Tricky Stewart, have an edgy brand of R&B and hip-hop that they say will define the future sound of music. The girls' debut album is out May 26 via Def Jam. I (Shené) is feeling the single "So Good" so I will be anticipating to see if they can carry an album.

Lil' Flip

Certified, one of two Flip albums scheduled for 2009. I haven't heard too much from Lil' Flip and not sure exactly how his rhyming skills have enhanced since the "beef" with T.I. so anyone who is a Lil' Flip fan or copping the CD let me know what you thought of it.
