Former child star JAIMEE FOXWORTH is a first-time mom after giving birth to a baby boy. The Family Matters actress and her boyfriend Michael Shaw welcomed son Michael Douglas Shaw Jr. on Friday, May 29th in Los Angeles - ten days after he was due. The baby weighed in at six pounds, 11 ounces (3.03 kilograms), reports People.com. Foxworth has most recently been in the spotlight after appearing on the U.S. reality series Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew last year (2008) to battle an addiction to marijuana.
But she is hoping her new arrival will help her kick her drug demons for good. She says, "This is the best day of my life. I am so excited to be a mother and I also look forward to getting back to work."
