BLAKSTAR NEWS - 3 YR OLD WALKS TWO BLOCKS TO SAVE HER FATHER

People always wonder when is the right age to begin teaching their children certain things. I am a firm believer that in many cases the earlier the better. Such is the case of 3 year old Alesaundra Tafoya of Northern California. She was home with her father when he, as she put it was "frozen" and would not wake. Her parents had been teaching about safe havens and places she could go for help or that were safe in her neighborhood if something was wrong. When her father had took a wrong dose of medication and would not wake up she walked two blocks to the fire station she had seen many times on her way home.

The firefighters said that in the years they had been there they had never had a toddler come up to their station and ask for help. Alesaundra led the men back to the house where they found her father in need of urgent medical care. Needless to say her parents were happy that their little girl had been listening.

See parents - never too early. Kids are like sponges they soak up everything even when we think they might not be listening.
